I have been working as a caregiver in Israel for about 10 years. I have experience caring for elderly patients with different needs. My first long-term job was with a grandmother in Rehovot who had dementia. I worked with her for 7 years. My second job was also with a dementia patient, and I have been working there for 3 years. This patient has become more aggressive and requires a lot of emotional and physical attention. Because of my long experience with dementia care, I have decided that for my next job, I would prefer to work with an elderly patient who does not have dementia or severe behavioral problems. I would like a calmer working environment where I can provide good and compassionate care while also having a healthier work-life balance. I am responsible, patient, caring, and experienced. I am also willing to learn the patient’s routine and specific needs and to build a good relationship with the family.
